Reliability Specialist Analyst
The Reliability Specialist Analyst role is vital to improving and supporting our plants by increasing the reliability of assets through performing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), training on the process, and aiding the Plants and Businesses in executing root cause analysis and incident investigation. Additional activities include design for reliability interacting with Land O'Lakes Engineering Teams, Asset Reliability Teams, and OEM's. Actively train and engage Maintenance personnel in the root cause analysis process.
This individual will perform FMEA's, beginning on critical assets in all business units within Land O'Lakes. Develop a solid Root Cause and Failure Analysis program for all levels. Participate in PSIR investigations and communicate findings and best practices across all facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identification of Critical Assets through analysis and discussions with Leadership - both Plant and corporate.
Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis on this equipment and provide repeatable results.
Actively participate in development of programs around Root Cause and Failure Analysis, defect elimination, and Preventative Maintenance program optimization.
Engage actively in PSIR investigation as well other product safety incidents.
Other activities linked with the improvement of Reliability in our Plants.
Bachelor's in engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Manufacturing operation.
5+ years' experience with strong understanding of the FMEA process, best practices and tools.
Solid understanding of Failure Analysis tools and processes.
Experience in training on programs and processes.
Have or gain familiarity with JD Edwards and Express Maintenance.
Experienced with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Power Point and Power BI a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you're able to work with a wide variety of people and collaborate with geographically distributed teams and effectively communicating everything from data points to critical feedback.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Demonstrated ability to be highly motivated, self-directed who can work with limited daily supervision or instruction.
Travel: This role will require a minimum 60% travel.
