As the Supervisor Maintenance, you will oversee maintenance of production equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. You will also oversee technicians that repair and maintain the production and test equipment. You will establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures. You will maintain inventory. You will schedule manufacturing activities. You will also manage training programs to ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures. You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

You will also devote a significant amount of your time to leading and managing employees. You will oversee the day-to-day operations for assigned work group or team. You will provide feedback to the manager on employees' work performance and will have input into employment decisions. Occasionally, you will do the work of those supervised. You will be responsible for managing to a prescribed budget, training and development of staff, resource management, work assignments, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

  • Establishes and drives execution of production shop floor or packaging assembly schedule.
  • Coordinates staffing, training, scheduling and capacity planning requirements for production work center.
  • Creates, maintains and reports on process performance measures and uses information to proactively drive improvement opportunities.
  • Ensures safety, quality and other regulations and policies are enforced. Ensures quality of product produced; promptly reviews all lot history documentation for accuracy and approves the release of quality product.
  • Assists in preparation and maintenance of department budget.
  • Requirements:

    • Associates degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline or equivalent military/trade experience.
    • 3 years of experience in an operations or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong interpersonal, communications and leadership skills.


    • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical degree in scientific or technical field.
